What you get
A folding dry-heat sauna with a carbon-ceramic heater and a 660 nm red light panel. Nurecover rates it at 85°C, and five layers of insulation keep the space small so the heat stays around you. A bamboo towel and folding chair come free.
It takes about 10 minutes to set up and fits 1 person, sitting upright. Up to 85°C dry heat, and red light panel built in. On the downside: some owners say the lower legs stay cooler.
The heat
This is dry heat, like a traditional Finnish sauna. The heater warms the air inside the pod itself, so there is no water to fill and no steam in the room. Dry air can go much hotter than steam and still feel comfortable, which is why these pods are rated well above any steam tent.
Running costs
Nurecover does not publish the power use for the SaunaPro. Most portable saunas use between 350 W and 1,500 W, which works out at roughly 5p to 20p for a 30-minute session at today’s prices. Check the label on the heater and use our running-cost calculator.
Buy it if
